Connect to Work

FareShare Midlands is part of a partnership delivering Connect to Work across Birmingham.

Working alongside Better Pathways (who are the lead partner), The BUSY Group, Disability Resource Centre (DRC) and The Colebridge Trust to help disabled people, those with health conditions and people with complex barriers to employment, to find sustainable work.

Connect to Work is a free, one-to-one supported employment programme in Birmingham. We help you prepare for work, find the right role, and stay supported once you start.  We will create clear routes into meaningful, sustainable work with practical support before and after you start.

Our programme offers:

• 1:1 support from a named Employment Specialist
• CVs, applications and interview practice
• Job matching to roles that fit your strengths and interests
• Start your job well with regular check-ins and workplace adjustments
• Training, apprenticeships and work experience options
• In-work support to help you settle, perform and progress

Eligibility Criteria:

• Live in Birmingham
• Aged 16-29
• In or out of work/education/training
• Living with a disability, long-term health or mental health need, neurodiversity, or other barriers
