Be a part of one of Birmingham’s most iconic running event.

On Sunday, 3rd May 2026, the Great Birmingham Run brings together thousands of runners for a combined 10K and Half Marathon, turning the streets of Brum into a celebration of energy, music, and community spirit. With live bands and entertainment along the routes, it’s an unforgettable race-day experience.

FareShare Midlands has a limited number of free charity places available for both distances, with minimum fundraising targets of:

  • £150 for the 10K
  • £200 for the Half Marathon

By joining our team, you’ll be doing more than ticking off a personal running goal. Every pound you raise helps FareShare Midlands tackle food waste and support communities across the region. Due to the popularity of this event, places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability.
