The Coronavirus crisis has sadly pushed 27% more people into food poverty and we need your help.
Join our active challenge this October to get your body moving, whilst fundraising to help feed people in the Midlands who are living in food poverty.
Miles for Meals is an exciting fundraising opportunity open to all! Walk, run, cycle (or use any other mode you like), to complete as many miles as you choose from 2nd-9th October 2021.
The flexibility of this challenge really puts you in control - choose to do your miles in one day, or spread across the week. Join forces with friends, family or work colleagues to increase the distance and raise even more funds to support people suffering from hunger and food poverty.
You could take the challenge with you on a weekend away and go off-road, maybe use the treadmill in the gym or cycle routes in the country … rack up your Miles for Meals, but do it in your way!

Is there a minimum distance I have to do?
No, we want this to be as flexible as possible, so feel free to do a distance that suits you!
Can children take part?
Of course, everyone is welcome! Many of our participants in 2020 were families who loved taking part as a family.
How do I track my miles?
We will send you the instructions via email once you’ve signed up, the miles will be tracked using the STRAVA app on your smartphone device. Alternative options are available at request for those not using a smartphone.
Do I have to complete my miles on those dates?
If you can’t complete your miles between 2nd and 9th October that’s OK, just let us know when you will be completing your challenge. Any funds you raise will still count towards our target and help get meals to people who need them.
How do people donate to my fundraiser?
We’ll share details on how to set up your own JustGiving page when you sign up. You can then simply share your unique JustGiving page link on your social media, and send it via email or text message to friends and family. The link will take them to your online fundraiser page where they can donate.
How many meals will £1 make?
£1 is equivalent to 4 meals going to vulnerable people living in food poverty in the Midlands.
