Our volunteers provide priceless support with driving the vans, helping to sort and store food in our warehouses, and performing administrative tasks in the offices. Whatever you're doing, as a FareShare Midlands volunteer you are getting our good-to-eat surplus food to where it's truly needed.
And the great news is, you will get so much from it too! Our volunteers tell us their time at FareShare Midlands helps them build new skills, develop confidence, make new friends and feel like they are doing something great, while giving back to their community.
Volunteering at FareShare Midlands provides the opportunity to be active and social in a friendly environment, while gaining skills and meeting new people. All we ask is that you can make a regular commitment of a few hours each week and, if it's a warehouse role, that you're physically able to load and unload food.

Your skills, experience and enthusiasm are a huge part of everything we do.
Our drivers are the vital link between us and our charity members. As a driver you will drop off the weekly orders of food at local charities and collect surplus from food businesses.
